No screens yet: hardware and installation count as the investment at an average per-screen cost. Our delivery partners price screens per format and site — a real figure replaces the average in your own estimate.

About this estimate

Media revenue only — the real figure is higher. Screens also lift incremental sales of the products advertised on them, your own promotions and paid campaigns alike, and grow basket size. Neither is counted here, so every figure on this page is a floor.

Platform and operations is platform cost plus per-store upkeep. The cost line combines the platform itself with the per-store cost of keeping a network live. Against it sit two savings: the content work automation removes, and the printed campaign material digital screens replace — posters, shelf talkers, end-cap headers and campaign kits, with their printing and distribution.

Your media sales model sets the sales cost. An in-house team, a sales partner's share and an open commerce media network each take a different slice of the media revenue shown.

European averages. US prices run higher, some markets lower. Results also depend on formats, sales motion and data readiness. Your own estimate replaces the averages with your numbers.

Screen reach follows the IAB standard. Impressions are opportunities to see as the IAB Europe / IAB In-Store Retail Media Measurement Standards define them: footfall × placements × aisle penetration × share of voice, adjusted for touchpoint compliance. Each added screen adds impressions, with diminishing returns as the network spreads from the entrance into the aisles.
